Operation and Maintenance Service
We are tackling the operation and maintenance of a variety ofbuildings, including the Data Center.

The Urbannet Ginza 1-chome Building is an office building built on the site of former
Kyobashi Telephone Office, the birthplace of the automatic telephone exchange
equipment. The building is a disaster-resistant building with a distinctive appearance with randomly applied design panels, and equipped with a frame structure that exceeds the new seismic standards, an emergency power generation system, and a disaster prevention stockpile warehouse. |

Project Details
To maintain the essential communication infrastructure functions that support society and to give
due consideration to the occupants, the externally worked aseismic reinforcement work emphasized
the vertical lines. With careful and minute attention to the safety of driving more than 7,000
anchors into the exterior wall surfaces and of construction in an area of heavy traffic, the
project was completed without any accidents over an extended period of six years.
The efforts were recognized by the General Incorporated Japan Building Disaster Prevention
Association, and the building was awarded the 2018 (H30) Building Award for Excellence in Seismic
Retrofitting.
