NIHON
MECCS Co., Ltd.
Our Business Foundation
Established in 1972, NIHON MECCS was founded with the aim of efficiently carrying out maintenance, renovation, and small-scale repair work
for approximately 7,600 telephone exchange buildings constructed throughout Japan to enable telegraph and telephone services, as well as
company housing for what were then some 300,000 employees of the former Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Public Corporation, and
telecommunications research laboratories developed to create new communications services and technologies.
Building on the business foundation established through our work with NTT—59 business locations across the country, quality management designed to prevent communications failures, and various training centers for acquiring practical skills—we have expanded our business domains. Today, we also provide services to facilities that support people's lives, such as Data Centers, Airports, Hospitals, and Research Laboratories, as well as to clients that own numerous buildings throughout Japan.
Corporate Philosophy
"Lifetime Support for Buildings" is our corporate philosophy.
This idea embodies our commitment to steadfastly protecting the buildings entrusted to us through equipment inspections, repair and
renovation of troubled areas, and rapid emergency response when issues arise, as well as the "sense of mission" that drives us to rush to
the site promptly when large-scale disasters such as earthquakes occur, and the cultivation of "sincerity" in seeing through what clients
ask of us with dedication.
"Lifetime Support for Buildings" reflects the growth of our employees as engineers and as people.
Today’s Challenges
Today, Japan faces a range of social issues, including rapidly progressing aging of the population and declining birthrate, intensifying
natural disasters associated with global warming, and—on the building front—the progression of aging structures, the need for energy-saving
and decarbonization responses, and labor shortages in the construction industry.
Our Commitment
In addressing these challenges, guided by our corporate philosophy of "Lifetime Support for Buildings”,we are committed to:
・Provision ofValue that Exceeds Client Expectations
・Creation of a Fair Corporate Culture and Dynamic Sites
・Evolution and Innovation that Create the Future
Thereby contributing to the realization of a sustainable society.
